ISRO to roll out a rival to GOOGLE EARTH
Emboldened by its first mission to the Moon, India is to take on a target closer to Earth: Google.
The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), which is based in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of the sub-continent,
will roll-out a rival to Google Earth, the hugely popular online satellite imagery service, by the end of the month.
Indian batsman VVS Laxman was delighted to get his second double hundred and end a seven-year wait in the third Test against Australia in Delhi on Thursday.
The VVS struck 200 not out to put India on top, steering them to 613 for seven declared before Australia reached 338 for four in reply at stumps on the third day.
"After a long time, I got a score more than 150," Laxman said. "I was getting hundreds but not big ones. That was very, very important for me.
"It is a good sign and hopefully this will start a process where I will start getting big hundreds," said the batsman, who is one short of playing 100 Tests.
